The Accion Academy for Entrepreneurial Success (AAES) is a 10-week San Diego based program consisting of practical, hands-on training accompanied by one-on-one business counseling to empower individuals – like you – to become entrepreneurs and create a job for yourself! In addition to receiving access to multiple business resources and experts to help you build a thriving business, participants who complete the series will also be eligible for up to a $5,000 business loan to cover start-up costs!

- How to get started
- How to manage your personal & business finances
- How to stand out among the competition
- How to promote your business
- How to determine your pricing
Ideal Candidate
- Lives and planning to start a business in San Diego County
- Ready to launch a business within 0-3 months of completing the AAES –OR- Currently engaging in business activities and looking to formalize their business to take it to the next level
- Has a viable business idea
- Ideally has experience in the industry
- Able to commit to the schedule of classes
- Preference will be given to those interested in the loan incentive (see below)
- Preference will be given to low-to-moderate income individuals*
